Alfredo Almodovar | Community Wellness and Nature Coach

Alfredo Almodovar is the Community Wellness and Nature Coach in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His current work focuses on person-based and place-based interventions surrounding nature's effect on mental well-being at both the individual and community level. Previously worked as a research assistant with a focus on bystander CPR education, improving sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) survival, and observing bystanders’ response within a virtual reality simulation.

He has obtained multiple certifications through his previous wellness pursuits including life coaching, social and emotional intelligence, motivational coaching, and neuro-linguistic programming as well as BS in Biology from Saint Joseph's University. His passion is rooted in holistic wellness, community partnership, and connectivity through nature.
